The client is looking for a senior PHP / laravel developer
They are one of the fastest growing eCommerce companies in europe and have some big scale products used by several million people per month with millions of requests per minute during peak times. Their Shop Applications Team — which they want to extend — constantly improves the App, Mobile Website and Desktop Website.
This job includes the following tasks:
* Develop RESTful API’s in PHP & Laravel (Lumen) & Phalcon that ensure a frictionless updating of the Shop Backend by their core backend system
* Improve scalability and technical performance of their API and its response times
* Optimize product indices for queries in Elasticsearch
* Work on a high-scalable product in the AWS ecosystem
* Draft architectural decisions together with their Tech Lead and explore new technologies
* Work in the team using agile methods
* Exchange knowledge with other developers
