IT Hub Lead (m/f/d) establishment of a new IT hub in Porto & remote

We are seeking an IT Hub Lead (m/f/d) for our client.

Project Description:
The role involves leading the establishment and management of a new IT hub in Porto, Portugal. The primary objective is to align the hub's strategic roadmap with organizational goals, ensuring the delivery of high-quality IT services. This position is crucial for overseeing daily operations, building a high-performing team, and driving operational excellence in the autofinance business domain.

Tasks:
- Establish, manage, and scale the IT hub in Porto.
- Define the strategic roadmap aligned with organizational goals.
- Oversee daily operations and ensure alignment with business objectives.
- Build, mentor, and grow a high-performing IT team across various disciplines, including Application Services, Infrastructure/Operations, Testing, and Project Management.
- Implement and manage quality assurance processes.
- Lead and supervise project management activities.
- Drive the delivery of high-quality IT services.
- Collaborate with global IT leadership and act as a trusted advisor to business units.

Experience:
- Minimum of 10-15+ years of progressive experience in IT leadership roles.
- Broad knowledge across IT domains, including Application Services, Infrastructure/Operations, Testing, and Project Management.
- Strong people management, mentoring, and delegation skills.
- Ability to define and execute a vision for an IT hub.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. A Master's degree is a plus.
- Technology Stack: Experience with AWS, Microsoft Suite, Salesforce.
- Industry Knowledge: Autofinance industry knowledge is a plus.
- Additional Requirements: Travel readiness is required.
