For our client we are looking for a QA Engineer (m/f/d)
Frame date:
Start: asap / July 2024
Duration: 31.12.24 (with opton tho extend)
Capacity: 100% if possible
Location: Berlin / Remote (1 week Berlin / 3 weeks remote in rotation), up to 50% onsite in peak times
Role:
As a QA Engineer (m/f/d) in the DevOps Portal Squad, you will be integrated into an agile DevOps team, addressing QA
and testing needs in line with a CI/CD approach. Your role involves close daily communication with
development engineers and early-stage test implementation (design, manual execution, automation). You will
be responsible for component and component integration testing within the team and participate in end-to-end
test design to ensure stable cross-squad component integration.
Targets:
- Test Design and Execution: Design, manually execute, and automate tests to validate the quality of the
DevOps portal components and their integrations with other DOE components.
- Release Test Planning

Tasks:

Must-have Skills:
- Strong experience in requirements analysis and test documentation (test design, test reporting)
- Strong experience with Jira and Confluence
- E2e testing of web-based applications
- Manual and automated UI/UX testing & API testing
- Practical experience with Postman for API testing.
- Understanding of CI/CD technologies (e.g., GitLab, ArgoCD or similar) for continuous testing and
deployment.
- Ability to understand complex systems, abstract relevant information, and communicate accordingly.
- Experience with Backstage.io or similar developer portal frameworks
- Fluent English in speech and writing (at least B2)
- Fluent German in speech and writing (at least B2)
Nice-to-have skills
- Experience with public clouds like GCP, MS Azure,
- Familiarity with Kubernetes and Docker
- Familiarity with Testkube and Backstage.
- Experience with test case management tools (e.g., TestRail, Allure).
- Experience in large-scale projects, particularly those involving developer portals.
- Experience in infrastructure platform projects and their QA/testing requirements.
