Dev-Ops Engineer (m/f/d)

As a DevOps Engineer you are responsible for the smooth, reliable operation of our client’s products, which are used millions of times daily in their in-house data centres, and further develop our client’s platforms in terms of stability and performance
You are the interface between software development and the platform teams
You automate further using our client’s Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery platforms and advise the product divisions on technology decisions
You will develop Infrastructure as Code, ensure the availability of our client’s services and the protection of our client’s customer data through appropriate tests, monitoring procedures and analysis tools
You will work on your own projects within the framework of „Slack Days“ or try out new technologies on prototypes

You have completed a technical degree or have comparable training
You are familiar with CI/CD and automation
TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP, REST, TLS and GIT are no foreign words for you
You have experience with Elastic Search
Handling many Linux systems (e.g. with Puppet or Ansible) or containers (e.g. Kubernetes) is not difficult for you
Tools like Kibana, Prometheus or Grafana help you to keep the overview
You have experience in at least one programming language (e.g. Python, Ruby, Go, Java)
You know tools like Icinga2, F5 or GoCD
You like to work in an environment that offers you a lot of freedom and a high degree of trust, and you accept the resulting responsibility
