Job description
The client is a PropTech startup and looking for en experienced Django Developer to support the dev team.
You'll work alongside the existing backend engineers as an equal contributor — picking up features, reviewing code, and shaping technical decisions together.
What You'll Do
* Design and build RESTful APIs using Django REST Framework
* Develop new CRM features end-to-end on the backend (models, serializers, views, permissions)
* Work with async task processing (PubSub workers)
* Participate in code reviews and contribute to architectural discussions
* Collaborate closely with frontend engineers on API contracts and integration
* Help improve test coverage, code quality, and developer experience
Your Profile
* Strong hands-on experience with Django
* Comfortable working in an existing, growing codebase — not just greenfield
* Solid understanding of REST API design, serializers, viewsets, and permissions in DRF
* Experience with PostgreSQL and Django ORM optimization beneficial
* Familiarity with GCP, Kubernetes, or containerized deployments is a plus
* Self-driven, communicates proactively, and comfortable working in a small team
