For our client we are currently looking for a Revenue Analyst Dynamic Pricing - touristic industry (m/f/d).

Start: asap
Duration: 6 months (with option of prolongation)
Location: Berlin
Mode: At the beginning 1 month in Berlin, afterwards 50/50 remote/ onsite
Language: English must have, German preferred but not a must have
Touristic Background is mandatory

The ideal candidates needs a strong analytical mindset, a keen eye for interpreting data, and the ability to translate insights into actionable recommendations. This role with play a crucial role in shaping the clients strategic targeting initiatives and gaining valuable insights into expanding the hotel customer base across diverse channels. The consultants will create deep data analysis & stakeholder reporting and offerings using data cleansing and mining expertise, data modeling, and business intelligence tooling.

The consultants needs excellent problem-solving skills, the ability to communicate clearly and confidently with technical and business stakeholders, and the drive to own deliverables and initiatives.

The tasks include:

Optimize product and price availability to maximize revenue: conduct regional and local market analysis, analyze property historical data, perform rate yielding and forecasting, manage data and analyze reports from external sites (e.g., Booking.com etc.)
Utilizing internal and external data systems, create, analyze, distribute routine and ad hoc reports, as required.
Monitor daily revenue performance and make proactive price adjustments to maximize margins, ensuring optimal balance between demand and supply.
Participate in the design of internal reporting systems and the implementation of relevant ad-hoc analyses
Assist in the development and maintenance of revenue management tools and systems to support data-driven decision-making.
Provide insights and recommendations to senior management for long-term revenue growth and market expansion opportunities
Manage projects for optimization in the field of revenue management and pricing.

Professional background

Proven track record as Revenue Analyst in touristic industry
Proven experience with dynamic pricing
Familiarity with target group segmentation, competition analysis, price control, and profit optimization
Excellent computer skills, and strong proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g. Excel, Tableau)
Ability to multi-task and distribute efforts appropriately among tasks, manage competing deadlines, handle frequent interruptions, and maintain a high level of productivity
Experience in SQL, databases, or Visual Basic a plus
Strong analytical mindset and distinct understanding of numbers high degree of organizational and time management skills
Ability to independently follow through and complete projects within a deadline
Must be able to work a flexible schedule including day and/or evening hours
Proficiency in English; further languages such as German are a plus
