Java Developer

The client is looking for multiple Java devs for a customer project.

Their customer is a well-known German real estate agency, who wants to provide homeowners, who are looking to sell their house or apartment, with tools to guide them on their journey. Often this leads to a homeowner talking with an agent, therefore they are also building tools for agents that help them perform as well as they can.

For the first half or 2019 the following is planned: Existing core products need to be updated. This will include investigating listing algorithms to create a better sorted view and implementing improved digital sales options. For homeowners to better understand the actions of agents, they would like to create a new reporting product.
There is also a deadline to move services from their DataCentre into the cloud – namely AWS. It's not clear yet, which of these projects requires assistance, but they need to extend their team by a few Java developers.

The technologies used for the projects will mainly be backend focused – specifically Java with spring/springboot. There will be AWS knowledge required for the projects (migration of work from Data-Centre to the Cloud).

This project is more suitable for experienced seniors - this agency has quite extensive onboarding, with several interviews and coding challenges. However, the projects are mostly exciting, partly with large international fundings.
