The client is looking for a Java developer to support the internal developer team. The team has end-to-end responsibility for a specific part of the client's system from design over creation to running it in production.
In addition to strong coding skills in Java, a working knowledge of JavaScript (React.js and Redux) would be very beneficial!
Moreover, the client values:
* deep knowledge and experience in building modern, scalable, distributed web backends,
* professional work experience in cloud environments, ideally Google Cloud,
* deep familiarity with concepts like DevOps, Continuous Delivery, Clean Code, TDD and Pair Programming, and
* ideally some experience working with search technologies such as ElasticSearch, Solr, Couchbase or others.
After an initial onsite period of about one Month, 50% remote work would be possible.
Start could be immediately.
