Job description
The client is looking for a Network Engineer.
The client needs someone to help them understand the cellular coverage in different cities around the globe. Your input will be used in a decision where we would send out our driverless test vehicles next.
Your experience:
- Deep understanding of the TCP and UDP protocols, packet loss and networking congestion concepts
- Experience with monitoring network performance and troubleshooting issues
- Experience with cellular/wireless communication channels
- Experience with tuning networking stack for video/audio streaming applications
- Knowledge of setting up networking infrastructure (i.e. VPNs, server maintenance)
- Knowledge in C or C++ programming, proficient Linux experience and you are always curious to learn new technologies
You should have worked already in fast moving environments like a startup.
