The client is looking for a Fullstack Developer skilled with Java and JavaScript.
The client has a backend written in Java 8 and is developing the frontend with React.js. The backend has a few issues, so now they are considering whether it's worth it to upgrade it to a current Java version and keep developing it, or starting from scratch and rebuilding the backend in JavaScript as well.
The perfect candidate is proficient in both Java and Spring Boot, as well as React.js and Node.js.
The first task is evaluating the current backend and consulting the client in making the decision to keep it or rebuild it. Afterwards, depending on which decision is taken, either continue working on the current Java-based backend, or rebuilding it with JavaScript.
