For a client in the energy sector we are currently looking for an Azure Infrastructure Architect (m/f/d).
Position Description
The Public Cloud team within the EDP project organization is responsible for developing a PaaS platform for
developing and running the workloads of customers and other project teams. Current focus is on Google Cloud, next steps is adding support for Microsoft Azure.
The Azure Architect will be responsible for designing the platform according to the requirements defined by
Product Management. This includes connectivity to the private cloud, and in general covering of all
responsibilities which are up to the service provider for PaaS, according to the shared responsibility model.
Targets in that Position
• Design a multi-tenant capable Azure PaaS platform suited for developing and running K8s workloads,
including integration with the private cloud in a hybrid cloud setup
• Document work results in Jira / Confluence
• Work in an agile Scrum environment
• Mentor senior engineers
Profile Requirements
• The individual must be self-dependent senior Azure architect, with the proven ability to design Azure PaaS
• Azure expert-level certification
• Proven experience in designing and building multi-tenant capable Azure-based platforms for
developing and running K8s workloads
• Proven experience in designing and building platforms according to the PaaS model, considering all
responsibilities that are up to the service provider according to the shared responsibility model for
PaaS
• Proven experience with cloud security
• Proven experience in designing / implementing AKS services
