Senior AI/LLM Engineer (m/w/d)

The client is looking for a Senior AI/LLM Engineer to join the founding team in building a cloud cost optimization platform.

You'll architect and build the core backend systems that power our cloud cost optimization platform from day zero. Starting with our initial monolithic web application, you'll take the lead in building our AI DevOps agent with features like routing user requests, automated server scheduling and AWS invoice processing. You will also assist in designing the multi-tenant database architecture, build robust APIs for our web dashboard, and create the AWS interfacing layer that pulls invoices, costs, and reports for automated savings plan management.

You'll own critical architectural decisions that scale from startup to enterprise. You'll work directly with AWS APIs, design the testing framework with high coverage, and implement CI/CD principles from day one to ensure seamless deployment and high uptime.

* Python proficiency: FastAPI, async programming, API orchestration
* Conversational AI architecture: Intent classification, context management, multi-turn dialogues
* Extending AI functionality: RAG systems, research capabilities, data pipelines, report compilation
* Production LLM deployment: RAG systems, vector databases, performance optimization
* Startup experience having built 0→1 products with rapid iteration and autonomous execution
