UI/UX Designer

The client is looking for an experience UI/UX designer.

The designer should support the client's team in a project for an end customer. The project is running for 4 months already, but one team member had to move to another project, which is why the client needs a replacement asap.

It's important for the client that the freelancer has 3+ years of experience in UI/UX design.

The project deals with the conception, validation and programming of apps in the area of "Industry 4.0". The current focus is on the development of cloud-based software for condition monitoring and maintenance management. This basically involves monitoring various parameters (temperature, energy consumption, etc.) in a production environment (condition monitoring). In addition, there is the Maintenance Management (CMMS) part, i.e. the administration of repair orders, Knowledge Management for maintenance, etc. At the moment we are assuming a Desktop/Tablet HTML solution. In the near future, a native app on smartphone is also conceivable.

The project has already been running four months. Personas were created, user research was carried out and a click dummy prototype (wireframe) was created, which was also partially validated. Currently the user stories for the MVP are formulated and prioritized.

Tasks:

- Iteration and refinement of the current click-dummy (UX perspective: app workflow, navigation concept, etc.).
- Support in formulating user stories from a design perspective
- Creation of High Fidelity Prototype (UI perspective: Screen Designs as input for the DevOps team)
- Consultation with the DevOps team for design questions
- Possible user tests with pilot customers
