Android Developer

The client is looking for an Android developer to create a simple app from scratch with the following requirements:
- Scan a barcode
- Make a few HTTP requests to an API
- Take and upload a photo
- Allow to save a note.
- Not many screens, vanilla Android UI, nothing too complicated. But it needs to manage situations where WiFi drops or requests time out.

The app should run on a specific device (Honeywell Dolphin CT60) running Android 7.1. The device will be supplied by the client to the freelancer for testing.

If possible, the app should be developed in Kotlin, but Java should also be ok.

The client team will not be in Berlin until March, so the development will be completely remote until then.

One other factor that is important to the client is that the freelancer would be generally willing to continue to work on the app in about 6 months.
