DevOps Engineer (m/w/d)

The client is looking for a DevOps Engineer for the migration of the onsite backend infrastructure to AWS.

The scalable high-performance server infrastructure, currently operated onsite, processes several 100,000 requests per second.
The data transfers in the distributed systems are handled by Apache Kafka and the computing processes by Hadoop and Apache Spark. The freelancer should migrate this internal infrastructure to AWS.
The freelancer should gather an understanding of the current onsite infrastructure, processes, performance characteristics, and technical requirements on his own. Internal stakeholders (data scientists, developers) are available to him for this purpose.
The freelancer is independently responsible for the architecture decision and must therefore have very good experience from working with AWS.
Further requirements are experience in working with Apache Kafka, Hadoop and Spark as well as programming knowledge with Python.
