Interim CTO (m/w/d)

The client is looking for an Interim CTO to lead their engineering team.

You will work closely with the CEO and other executives to align technology initiatives with business goals.

Your tasks:
- Review existing team capabilities, and identify gaps, risks, and shortcomings
- Establish agile procedures across the development team and standardized processes for resource planning
- Measure, mentor, and lead a high-performing team of engineers
- Architectural decisions and design processes moving from a highly dispersed environment to comprehensive, micro-services-based architecture using REST APIs
- Budget management
- Define and maintain the tech stack, with a strong focus on JavaScript and related frameworks
- Review and optimize Saas tools and frameworks
- Implement and maintain robust security practices and compliance standards
- Further development of the existing applications (health tech/telemonitoring)
- Identify opportunities to incorporate them into the products (using AI to optimize processes and interfaces to the customers/patients)

You should have multiple years of experience as a CTO or in a Senior tech leadership role in a fast-paced startup environment, and building and leading high-performing engineering teams.
Knowledge of health tech, platform models and micro-services-based architectures would be very beneficial.
