Product Owner (f/m/d) with DevOps/ Cloud-Platform-Knowhow

For our client we are looking for a Product Owner (f/m/d) in a complex, scalable hybrid cloud platform project
environment.

Role:
DevOps for Applications (D4A) streamlines workflows on the platform by reducing overhead and automating tasks, allowing application developers to focus on business logic. D4A provides three products to the platform:
- CodeBuild (CI for automation and source management)
- Artifact Registry (Image and Artifact Registry)
- Developer Portal serves as a self-service hub for interacting with all D4A products and other platform services

Key Responsibilities:
- Stakeholder Communication: Engaging with stakeholders to accomplish the project goals within D4A and throughout the whole program.
- Specification & Prioritization: Gathering insights from roles within the product flow, translating them into product specifications, requirements, features, and user stories. Prioritizing these within the product backlog to ensure maximum value delivery.
- Strategy Development: Establishing a product strategy in consultancy with D4A’s Product Management and the platform's Customer Success to provide solutions corresponding with the stakeholder’s needs.
In essence, the Domain Product Owner bridges the gap between stakeholders and development by translating needs into a prioritized backlog and a strategic product vision that maximizes value for the platform.

The PO is a senior-level with experience in Product Ownership in a complex, scalable platform project environment including excellent communication skills and a basic technical understanding of the tool stack.

Skills (must-have):
- Experience with Product Ownership
- Proven Ability to gather requirements, translate to Specifications, and manage a Product Backlog
- Experience with agile methodologies (e.g. Scrum, SAFe)
- Experience with DevOps, Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) tools and CI tools (e.g. Harness, Gitlab)
- Experience with Registry and Artifactory tools (e.g. JFrog Artifactory, Harbor)
- Experience in Stakeholder Management including communication skills for technical alignment
- Experience with documentation and project management tools (e.g. Jira, Confluence, Markdown)

Skills (should-have):
- Fundamental experience with Kubernetes, IAM, RBAC, and Observability
- Experience in the Energy Sector or with Mission-Critical Systems
- Experience with UI-driven platform tools (e.g. backstage.io)
