Shopify / Javascript Consultant / Lead Dev

The client is looking for someone with Shopify and Javascript experience to serve as a technical consultant and "mediator" between the C-Level and their talented Frontend-Developer.

Your task would be:
- keeping an eye on the roadmap / big picture
- make technical decision
- mentor for the senior developer
- "firefighter" in case things go south (happens very very very very rarely)

Currently, the webshop uses
- a headless Shopify, a gaspy frontend, sanity backend ---> by end of January it will have been migrated to a regular Shopify Theme
- some minor API services using node.js
- Integromat

There would be a handover with the current tech lead in January 2022. You would take over in February 2022.
