August "IPAs and APIs" Community Meetup in Berlin

Before Corona hit Germany in early 2020, we organized a monthly community meetup in Berlin, and it was honestly one of the most fun and energizing party of running Uplink! 😄 Meeting so many like-minded freelancers and enjoying a few delicious craft beers together reminded us why we had started this community in the first place!

This is why the past 1,5 years, during which we couldn't organize any in-person meetups, were really painful. We tried to compensate by setting up "online community meetups" a few times but quickly realized they were not the same.

The pandemic is not over, but a few weeks ago we decided it was safe enough to finally organize another meetup!

On August 25, we invited everybody to the BRLO Brewhouse in Berlin and had a wonderful evening with about 30 members who joined us!

We hope that we will be able to get back to a monthly schedule with the meetups now and that the Corona situation does not worsen to the point of restrictions again.

Also, after hearing about the meetup in Berlin, some members from Hamburg spontaneously started organizing a meetup over there as well! This showed us that there is strong demand outside of Berlin, which we will have to take care of! 😁
